Book sale at library worth checking out

July 3, 2013
The Leader Herald

The annual book sale hosted by the Friends of the Northville Library will run this Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the library on 341 S. Third St., Northville. Admission is free except for Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m., when a $3 early bird admission fee will be charged. More than 7,000 paperback and hardcover books will be offered for sale at bargain prices.

I would like to thank all the volunteers who have always helped to plan, set up and break down the sale, work at the sale, plus those who donate books and lend tables, tents and tarps. This includes the Friends of the Library, the Scunziano family, Steve Williams, Sam Ellsworth, Daniel Brown, Isaiah Williams, the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts and 4-H. An extra big thank you goes to Joan Crean, who spends all year searching for, collecting, organizing and categorizing books.

We invite you to join us at our 2013 book sale. It promises to be the biggest one we have had so far.

LAUREN GRITSAVAGE

Book sale chairwoman
