County residents charged on warrants

FONDA - The Montgomery?County Sheriff's Office said six people were recently charged after deputies executed arrest warrants across the county.

In a news release, the sheriff's office said the arrest warrants came about after a four-month investigation into drug sales.

Those charged were:

Jesus Santiago, of 127 Market?St.,?Amsterdam, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

Dylan A.?Countryman, of 6880 Route 5S, Minden, was charged with criminal sale of marijuana, a felony.

Susan M. Kelly, of 5 Douglas St., Fort Plain, charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

Steven?C.?Williams, 125 Putman?Road,?Sprakers, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

Angel Quinones, of 163 Market St.,?Amsterdam - who at the time of arrest was incarcerated in the Montgomery?County Jail - was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

Peter J. Marshall, of 306 Morrow Road, Amsterdam, was charged with conspiracy, a felony.

In addition to the arrest warrants being executed, the release said, drugs and four vehicles were seized.

The sheriff's office was assisted by state police, the county Probation?Department, and the Fort Plain and Amsterdam police departments.
