GLOVERSVILLE - The annual summer festival -?previously called the strawberry festival?- will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 151 S. Main St.
There will be strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, ice cream and homemade baked goods, a news release said. There will be dinner options, including hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and french fries.
The event also will include games and a slide for children; and music will be provided by Paul Whitney, a guitarist and singer.
Raffle tickets offering the chance to win cash prizes at the festival can be purchased now at the parish office, or at the festival, for $1 for each ticket.
