Colonials lose at Oneonta in OT

ONEONTA - The Glove Cities Colonials fell to 0-2 on the season following an 18-12 overtime loss to the Oneonta City Stallions in a Northeastern Football Alliance contest at Hartwick College's Wright Stadium on Saturday.

Noble Champen threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jason Carnell for the game-winning touchdown. Carnell finished with six catches for 55 yards for Oneonta City (1-1 overall).

Champen went 14-for-26 for 205 passing yards and 73 rushing yards for the Stallions, while Jake Trotter hauled in an 85-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. Champen also scored on a 15-yard run in the fourth quarter. Trotter had 109 yards on three catches for Oneonta City.

Glove Cities will host Utica (1-1 overall) on Saturday at Knox Field in Johnstown at 7:30 p.m.
