Fuller to host basketball camps

BROADALBIN - Broadalbin-Perth graduate Harley Fuller will host his fourth annual basketball camps during the month of July at Broadalbin-Perth High School.

The camps will be spread out over three week-long sessions.

The first will be a little buddies camp for players ages five through nine from July 8 to 12, from 8:45 a.m. to noon at a cost of $85 per player.

The second will be a girls camp for players ages 10-17 from July 15 to 19 from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at a cost of $110.

The third camp will be a boys camp for players ages 10-17 from July 22 to 26 from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at a cost of $110.

The camps will feature several guest speakers and counselors.

Fuller also is forming an Upstate Elite Summer League at Darling Field in Gloversville that will run from July 2 through Aug. 12. The league will feature three divisions (men 18 and older, girls ages 11 to 15, boys ages 11 to 15) at a cost of $50 per player.

For more information, call Fuller at 775-0819 to register a team of seven players, or to be put onto a free agent team by the league director. Only the first six teams from each age division will be accepted.

There will be a sign-up session for both the league and the camps June 11 at Gianna's Pizzeria in Gloversville from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those who can not attend can email fulle3r@yahoo.com or call 775-0819 to receive a registration flyer for either event.
