Man indicted on drug charges

FONDA - A Montgomery County grand jury recently indicted six people, according to the office of District Attorney James "Jed" Conboy.

Those indicted were:

Edwin Feliciano, 47, of 217 Brookside Ave., Amsterdam, was indicted on two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The charges against Feliciano are from incidents in January involving cocaine in Amsterdam, the district attorney's office said.

Orestes Andino Jr., 44, of 9 Bayard St., Amsterdam, was indicted on five counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The charges came from incidents involving heroin between October and January, the district attorney's office said.

Roseann L. Jones, 46, of 6 Milton Ave., Amsterdam, faced a 10 count indictment. Jones was charged with five counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The charges related to incidents involving cocaine between July and January, the district attorney's office said.

James E. Hines, 47, of 74 Center St., Amsterdam, was indicted on two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The district attorney's office said the charges relate to incidents involving cocaine in Amsterdam that happened in late 2012 and early this year.

Fernando Rodriguez, 36, of 321 E. Main St., Amsterdam, was indicted on two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

This indictment was in connection with incidents involving cocaine between the months of October 2011 and August, the district attorney's office said.

Danny Gonzales, 37, of 2088 Route 5S, Fort Hunter, was charged with a felony-level DWI.
