GLOVERSVILLE - A man was arrested Friday after he was striking his girlfriend's vehicle with a city-owned parking sign, city police said.

Michael G. Rosario, 37, of 270 Bleecker St., was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Police said he was arrested after a family dispute. During the investigation, police said, Rosario was found to have an active bench warrant for failure to pay fine.
