June 2, 2013
The Leader Herald

JOHNSTOWN?- Mildred Voss, born May 28, 1913, the daughter of Earl and Grace Bellman, celebrated her 100th birthday on May 25 at Wells House, where she resides with her husband, Paul Voss. A party was given in her honor by her daughter, Karen Voss. Friends helped her celebrate the occasion.

She was born and grew up with her parents and two sisters, Ruth and Mable Bellman, on their family farm in Buel, Montgomery County. Later, she was employed by Beech-Nut, where she met Paul Voss. They were married on Aug. 26, 1938. She became a homemaker, wife and mother in their new home in Canajoharie.

She enjoys reading, playing games and reminiscing. Photo albums provide the source of material for recollections, reflections and stories she shares with family and friends who stop by to visit.
