Mildred Teresa (Wolocen) Farina was born Feb. 5, 1921.
Mildred Farina passed away on April 11, 2013, at 92 years of age, in Merritt Island, Florida.
Mildred "Millie" was the wife of Guy Farina, deceased, PGA golf professional of 40 years at Nick Stoner Golf Course, in Caroga Lake, New York. Millie raised her family at the golf course, during the summer, and in Niskayuna, N.Y., the remainder of the year.
Millie was an active member of her local Ladies Inter County Golf Association, and an avid participant in dance, crafts, and bingo where she was a member of senior centers, in New York and in Florida.
Surviving Millie are her children, Mark Farina of Monterey, Calif., Janie Farina of Pinehurst, N.C., Deborah Jennings of Cocoa, Fla.; grandchildren, James Farina, Mikaela Reppert, and Stephen Jennings Jr., respectively, and recent addition, great-granddaughter, Saedi Reppert, also survive Mildred.
Family and friends of Millie will eternally remember for her beauty, sense of style, and humor.
A casual service for the interment of Millie's ashes will be held on June 4, 1 p.m. at the Farina family plot, in St. Anthony's Cemetery, in Glenville, N.Y.
