Mr. William J. Langlois Jr., 44, of Gloversville, passed away May 25, 2013, at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. He was born February 26, 1969, in Amsterdam, N.Y., son of Patricia Edick Langlois and the late William J. Langlois. Mr. Langlois was educated in the Broadalbin-Perth Schools and employed as a laborer at Rehrig Pacific Co. in Gloversville.
Independant and hardworking, William was loyal and devoted to his family. He looked forward to family vacations and camping. He also enjoyed hunting and loved mechanics and working on cars.
William is survived by his wife, Karen Wilson Langlois; and children, Leanna M. Langlois, Carlos L. Wilson and Angelo J. Langlois, all of Gloversville. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia Edick Langlois of Amsterdam; sisters, Denise Coco (Andy) of Gloversville and Billiejo Loveless (Keith) of Amsterdam; and a brother, George Langlois (Claudia) of Broadalbin. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Jefffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St., Broadalbin, with the Reverend Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation took place at Parkview Crematory, Schenectady.
