JOHNSTOWN - A city man was sentenced Friday morning in Fulton County Court to 1 1/2 to three years in state prison in a felony larceny case.

Michael B. Bonfey, 35, was sentenced by Judge Richard C. Giardino to the prison time, as well as unspecified restitution he must make to about five people. He was sentenced as a second felony offender.

Sentencing was based on the defendant's March 18 guilty plea to one felony count of fourth-degree grand larceny.

Bonfey was charged Sept. 24 by city police. He had been accused of stealing two Motorola Droid tablets from the Verizon Store on Route 30A.
