The Leader Herald

GLEN - After the Glen-Mohawk Seniors meeting Tuesday was called to order by Charlene Pollock, president, the group was led in prayer by D. Dorine Dimond. The group said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang "God Bless America," led by Debbie Nelson.

The roll call was taken with 41 members present. Also, it was announced that Art Young is a member.

The secretary's report was accepted as read. The treasurer's report was read by Pollock in the absence of the treasurer, which will be filed for audit.

There are still vacancies for the trips to Lake George, Warren County, and to Cape Cod, Mass. The social committee for June will have more details about the event at the next meeting.

All members who are going to participate in the Memorial Day parade on Monday are asked to meet in Fultonville on Route 5S at 8:30 a.m.

There will be an ice cream social at the church on June 6.

A thank-you card was sent to Stewart's for their recent donation. Charlene Fonda thanked everyone for her cards and also had a trivia game.

The 50-25-25 raffle winners were Linda Gray and Phyllis Smith with an extra prize won by Eleanor Chatterton.

The meeting adjourned, which was followed by "The Lord's Prayer" in closing.

There will be no bingo due to a previous commitment for the meeting room.
