BROADALBIN - The village's Memorial Day Parade, co-sponsored by the VFW Post 8690 and American Legion Post 337, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Participants will meet on School Street by 9 a.m.
By order of the village police, a news release said, traffic flow and parking will be temporarily suspended. Traffic on the Main Street portion of the parade route will be restricted or closed to all vehicle traffic beginning at 8:30 a.m. In addition, parking will be temporarily suspended on the following streets from 8:30 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade: Bridge Street, both sides, from Main Street to Railroad Street; North Main Street, both sides, from the monument north to School Street and; West Main Street, both sides, from the Monument to First Avenue.
Parking will be available at the village's public parking area on Center Street. Parking also will be available in designated locations from the intersection of Main Street and First Avenue, traveling west, and in designated locations on First Avenue, north of Cedar Lane.
