Canjo Library gets grant for literacy

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation recently announced the award of $3,000 to the Canajoharie Library to support literacy programs.

Since its inception in 1993, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation, based in Goodlettsville, Tenn., has awarded more than $81 million in grants to nonprofit organizations, a news release said.

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation also is accepting applications for youth literacy grants through Thursday.
