JHS boys lacrosse loses to Scotia, 16-2

SCOTIA - Ben Connelly finished with six goals and an assist, powering Scotia-Glenville to a 16-2 win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council boys lacrosse game Thursday.

Nick McCloskey had four goals and three assists for Scotia-Glenville, while Connor Flaherty added four goals. Ian Ackerman added two goals and an assist for the Tartans.

Austin Brand and Jeremy Meher scored for Johnstown, while David Fahr added an assist.

Zack Simone made 21 saves for the Sir Bills.

Johnstown (4-12 overall, 0-8 Foothills) now awaits the pairings for the Section II Class C Tournament, which will be announced today.
