GLOVERSVILLE - Broadalbin-Perth put up five first-inning runs Friday night and Anthony Visco struck out 11 batters as the Patriots defeated Gloversville 11-2 in Foothills Council action Friday night at Husky Field.
Broadalbin-Perth got extra-base hits, all doubles, from Luigi Magliocca, Visco, Patrick Brown and Matt Myers.
Myers and Brown all had singles, while Tim Gordon had two singles.

For Gloversville Mike Fancher had two hits, including a triple, while Chris Rockefeller doubled. Marcus Mahoney accounted for the Huskies' fourth hit with a single.
Gloversville returns to action Monday at Johnstown and closes out the season at home Thursday night against the Sir Bills.
The loss drops Gloversville's record to 6-11 overall and 4-8 against Foothills Council competition, hurting the Huskies' chances of reaching postseason play.
