Many helped Watch clean up the streets

May 8, 2013
The Leader Herald

Many thanks to the following people who helped with the Gloversville Neighborhood Watch cleanup on Kingsboro Avenue: Raymond Nellis, Elizabeth Nellis, Mike Durkee, Roger Weaver, Adrienne Salamack, Andrew Millard, Patti Millard and a special thank you to Nicholas Millard, who is afflicted with Chiari and is recovering from brain surgery. He wanted to help us Saturday, but it was decided that he needed more healing first before he hits the streets with a rake and shovel.

We had a very successful cleanup effort and appreciated the comments and cheers from those passing by.

On a different note, thank you to Kevin Jones, Department of Public Works director, and his staff in his promptness in placement of our Neighborhood Watch signs throughout the city.

We appreciate everything DPW has done for us.

RICHARD and SHIRLEY SLEEZER

Coordinators of Gloversville
