FFCS grad Parslow throws perfect game

WATERTOWN Fonda-Fultonville graduate Charles Parslow, a member of the Hudson Valley Community College baseball team, pitched a perfect game Saturday against Jefferson Community College.

After losing the first game of the doubleheader 8-5, Parslow pitched the Vikings to a 10-0 win in the second game.

Parslow faced 15 batters in the game, which was shortened to five innings by the mercy rule. Parslow struck out six on his way to the win.

On the season, Parslow has now thrown 12 innings against Jefferson allowing no runs, one hit (11 consecutive hitless innings), with 11 strikeouts and only one walk allowed.

He is now 5-0 on the season.

Parslow also singled in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader.
