H.S. Softball Roundup: B-P slips past Glens Falls, 3-2

BROADALBIN - Ciarra Dickson drove in all three runs to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a 3-2 win over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council softball game.

Nicole Traver threw a five-hitter for the Lady Patriots (4-3 overall, 4-2 Foothills). Rachel Orapello had two hits and two runs scored for Broadalbin-Perth.

Glens Falls slipped to 1-5 in Foothills play with the loss.

GLOVERSVILLE - Amber Bourdeau connected for a triple, two singles and two RBIs to help the Bulldogs improve their league record to 6-0 in a Foothills Council contest at Gloversville Middle School.

Sam Hubinsky added two triples and an RBI for South High, while Emily Sharpe had three singles and Meghan Linehan had two singles and two RBIs.

SCOTIA - Taylor Clark had a double and two singles to lead Queensbury to a shutout win over Scotia-Glenville.

Amy Zuccaro pitched a five-hitter to earn the win in the circle for the Lady Spartans. Brittany LaPlant and Cat Hand each had two singles and a triple for Queensbury (7-2 overall, 4-2 Foothills).

Scotia-Glenville slipped to 3-3 in Foothills play with the loss.
