William B. Rogers, 77, of South Shore Road, Edinburg, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam.
He was born on May 14, 1935, in Detroit Michigan, the son of the late Robert and Loretta Hallenbeck Rogers. Bill was a graduate of Draper School in 1953. He served in the National Guard and was lastly employed as a truck driver for Callahan Industries, retiring in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Rising Rogers of Edinburg; his son, William Rogers Jr.; and his daughter, Loretta (Tim) Valenta; one stepson, Joseph (Tracy) Sarrutto; one brother, Donald (Justine) Chovanec; and one grandchild, Angie Sarrutto.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013, at noon in the West Charlton Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Northville Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.northvillefuneralservice.com.
