AHS boys tennis loses to Albany

AMSTERDAM - Albany won five of six singles matches on its way to a 6-3 win over Amsterdam in a Big 10 boys tennis match Monday.

Tyler Stempsey, Rafael Cabahug, Gabriel Malerba, Hillel Adler and Manuel Guerrero all won singles matches for the Falcons. Rezart Bushati and Gregory Neumann won at third doubles for Albany (5-1 overall, 5-1 Big 10).

Mike Tambasco notched Amsterdam's lone singles win, posting a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Albany's Brendan Kelley.

Andrew Disalvi and Kevin Melville won at No. 1 doubles for Amsterdam (0-4 overall, 0-4 Big 10), while Corey Tambasco and Cody Ludwin won at No. 2 doubles.
