GLOVERSVILLE - Four city residents were charged after city police say they were found hiding in a vacant residence.

Miranda L. Bowman, 20, of 15 Prospect Ave., Akeem J. Corrica, 25, of 25 Fifth St., Anntwanette M. Figueroa, 25, of 15 Prospect Ave. and Amaya L. Jones, 29, of 9 Eagle St., were arrested Friday morning and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree burglary after officers were dispatched to 35 Yale St. for a report of people trespassing.

Police said the location was listed as vacant, but officers found the four hiding in the residence.

Jones also was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument after police found a modified benefit card in her possession, police said.

All four were arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility.
