GLOVERSVILLE - On May 21, voters in the Gloversville Enlarged School District will select four Board of Education members.
Three vacancies are caused by the expiration of the terms for Joseph Andrews, Frank Carangelo, and Robert Curtis. Service in those seats will begin July 1 and run until June 30, 2016.
Another member will be elected to fill a vacant seat on the board left by the resignation of Polly Peck. Service on the board would begin May 22 and end June 30, 2015.
Petitions for nominating a resident to the Board of Education are available in the business office at 234 Lincoln St., between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, call 775-5706.
The names of at least 100 qualified voters are necessary to nominate a candidate for the Board of Education.
Petitions must be returned to the district clerk by 5 p.m. April 30.
