FMCC baseball loses pair

TROY - The Fulton-Montgomery Community College baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader Tuesday at Hudson Valley Community College.

The Vikings won the first game 10-3 and the second 10-0.

In the first game, Matt Gallup struck out nine and allowed three hits to earn the complete-game win for HVCC.

Alex Lushkevich had two hits, two RBIs and two stolen bases for the Vikings, while Brett Fenton also had two hits. Fonda-Fultonville graduate Charles Parslow had a single, double and two runs scored for HVCC, while Andy Kozak and Anthony Scaccia each had two hits.

In the second game, Parslow earned the win on the mound for the Vikings. Parslow allowed three hits, struck out five and walked one.

Lushkevich had two hits and scored two runs for HVCC.

FMCC will host HVCC in a doubleheader Thursday at 2 p.m.
