Police: Man pointed shotgun at woman

MAYFIELD - State police said a man was arrested Wednesday after pointing a shotgun at a woman.

Douglas R. Julian, 33, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, and second-degree menacing.

Police said troopers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Route 123 in town.

A woman told troopers Julian pointed a shotgun at her, police said.

Police said a check of Julian's criminal history revealed a conviction for felony DWI. Due to the felony conviction, police said, the criminal possession of a weapon charge went from fourth degree to third degree.

Julian was arraigned in?Town?Court. He was sent to Fulton?County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
