Hollenbeck gets elections post

April 9, 2013
The Leader Herald

JOHNSTOWN - The Fulton County Board of Supervisors on Monday appointed former Broadalbin Supervisor Lee Hollenbeck as the county Board of Elections' Republican commissioner, effective through Dec. 31, 2014.

A resolution to name the former board chairman was seconded by current Broadalbin Supervisor Joseph DiGiacomo.

Hollenbeck replaces former Republican Election Commissioner Brett Preston, who previously stepped down.

Election commissioner is a part-time post paying $1,305 annually.

Hollenbeck and current Democratic Election Commissioner Lynn Rubscha will run the elections office on Route 29, work with county supervisors, and rule on various election matters.
