Marjorie Flood LaVergne, 71, passed from this life into her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2013, in Orange City, Florida.
Marjorie was born on April 10, 1941, and was the daughter of Donald Flood Sr. and Charlotte Willliams Flood. She is survived by: three sons, Robert (Nancy) LaVergne of North River, New York, Stanley LaVergne of Indian Lake, New York, and Jeffrey LaVergne of Orange City, Florida; six grandchildren, Mathew, Ashley, Joshua, Rachel, Audrey, and Timothy LaVergne; one great-grandchild, Cadence; one sister, Charlotte Flood DeFilippo; two brothers; Donald Flood and Carl (Patricia) Flood; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. She was predeceased by Jeff's wife, Sandy LaVergne.
Marjorie was a graduate of Wells Central School and Utica School of Beauty Culture. She owned and operated a successful beauty shop in Northville and later in Indian Lake. She enjoyed life, loved the Lord, her family, her friends and people in general. She had a very loving relationship with all her grandchildren, her daughters-in-law, Michelle, Nancy and Sandy; and her good friends George and Vicki Virgil. Margie will be fondly remembered for her smile, her contagious laughter, her caring and her own "style."
A memorial celebration of Margie's life will be held at a later date in Indian Lake, New York.
