Pioneer Street Mill plan to be discussed

AMSTERDAM-The Town Board has scheduled a special hearing for 6 p.m. today before the board's regular meeting.

The subject of the hearing will be the proposed remedial action plan for the Pioneer Street Mill, according to an agenda provided by town officials.

The board meeting agenda includes: a proclamation for the Amsterdam High School Marching Rams; the annual renewal of a monitoring and notification agreement with Hart Alarm for the town hall and garage; adoption of a fire inspection fee schedule; discussion of a judicial tax grievance settlement; and a resolution supporting New York state contact information for vacant structures.

The meeting will take place at the Town Hall at 283 Manny's Corners Road.
