FLORIDA - A fire broke out at a single-family home early Monday morning on Langly Road.
The building was ruled a total loss said Montgomery County Fire Coordinator Dale Furman, but occupants able to exit without injury.
Emergency responders received the call at 6:25 a.m., and a state police officer was the first on scene within five minutes of the call.
Firefighters from Burtonsville, Florida, Fort Hunter, Glen, Hagaman, Mariaville and Pattersonville fire departments were on scene until 11:30 a.m. Cranesville, Rural Grove and Tribes Hill firefighters were on standby.
Furman said the cause of the fire is still under investigation this morning.
The American Red Cross provided comfort kits, temporary lodging and financial assistance for food, clothing, seasonal garments and shoes to the house's two occupants.
