Students make valentines for veterans

Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School students presented valentines and a sign to members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Wednesday at the school.

Students made valentines for wounded veterans, and the VFW members said they would bring the valentines to veterans at an Albany hospital.

State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, D-Rotterdam, also attended the event to talk to children about the sacrifices made by veterans.
