Girls Basketball Roundup: B-P loses to South Glens Falls

SOUTH GLENS FALLS - After leading by just one point at the half, South Glens Falls outscored Broadalbin-Perth 24-12 in the second half to earn a 50-37 win in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Tuesday.

Alexis Smith scored 14 points to lead South Glens Falls (11-7 overall, 6-6 Foothills), while Sydney Coon added 13 points.

Kaitlin Wood scored 20 points to lead Broadalbin-Perth (8-9 overall, 2-9 Foothills), while Kylie Gifford scored six points.

ALBANY - Anna Bryce and Cassia Gravesande each scored 18 points to lead Albany Academy to a win over Fonda-Fultonville.

Albany Academy led 23-17 at the half before pulling away by outscoring the Lady Braves 40-33 after the break.

Emily Padalino scored 14 points for Albany Academy (7-11 overall, 5-11 Colonial) while Michaela Carney added nine points.

Emily Parslow finished with 19 points to lead Fonda-Fultonville (7-10 overall, 5-10 Colonial), while Emily Frollo added 14 points.

The Mountaineers led 22-12 at the half and outscored the Lady Indians 27-22 after the break to seal the victory.

Bobbi-Jo Page scored 15 points to lead Wells (1-13 overall, 1-13 MVAC), while Brittany Woodward finished with 12 points, five steals and three assists. Sam Zemken added 13 rebounds for the Lady Indians.
