Jones, McNamara compete for Utica

CLINTON - The Utica College men's track and field team competed at the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday at Bundy Field House.

Fonda-Fultonville graduate Chris Jones was third in the 60-meter hurdles for the Pioneers with a time of 9.15 seconds.

Mayfield graduate Jamie McNamara, a sophomore, was second in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:41.27.

McNamara also was part of the distance medley relay team that won with a time of 11;26.42.

The Pioneers return to action Friday when they travel to Rochester Institute of Technology for the Tiger Invitational at Gordon Field House in Rochester. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
