ALBANY - In its final event before this weekend's Section II Class B Tournament at Mohonasen, the Amsterdam wrestling team turned in a solid showing at the Big 10 Invitational at Albany High School on Saturday.
Brandon Lapi went 4-0 to win the 132-pound title.
In the finals, Lapi pinned Albany Academy's Sam Delarge in 3:05.
James Marquez (160 pounds) placed third for the Rams, going 4-1.
In the consolation finals, Marquez edged Huntington's John Mallouk 2-1.
Rob Santiago (170) and Ken Garcia (195) also placed third for Amsterdam.
Dal Orengo (138_ and Chris Lopez (220) both placed sixth for the Rams
