Boys Basketball Roundup: Scotia-Glenville cruises past Patriots, 63-42

SCOTIA - Alex Sausville finished with 15 points, leading Scotia-Glenville to a 63-42 win over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council boys basketball game Tuesday.

Joe Cremo registered 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Tartans (13-0 overall, 10-0 Foothills), who outscored B-P 45-20 in the first half.

Andrew Tabbert added 14 points for Scotia-Glenville.

Chris Natole scored 14 points to lead Broadalbin-Perth (5-9 overall, 3-7 Foothills), while Mark Sylvia added eight points.

The Sabres led 30-24 at the half, but the Braves outscored Schalmont 27-13 after the break to earn the win.

Ryan Derby scored 13 points for Fonda-Fultonville (5-8 overall, 3-7 Colonial).

Dominic Caputo finished with 18 points to lead Schalmont (6-9 overall, 4-6 Colonial), while Devin Murphy added 12 points.

CANAJOHARIE - Dillan Veeder finished with 13 points, including six in overtime, to lead Canajoharie to a WAC North Division win over St. Johnsville.

Kevin Shannon also scored 13 points for the Cougars (14-2 overall, 11-1 WAC North), while Zach Folts finished with 10 points.

Josh Gonzalez added eight points for Canajoharie, which led 31-21 at the half before holding off a second-half charge by the Saints.

Alex Hart scored 17 points to lead St. Johnsville (7-8 overall, 5-6 WAC North), while Kyle Smith had 13 points. Ricky Jasewicz added 12 points for the Saints.

MAYFIELD - Dylan Toscano finished with 14 points to lead Mayfield to a WAC North win over Northville.

The Panthers led 16-13 at the half before outscoring the Falcons 31-18 in the second half to seal the win.

Ryan Hennessy scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Mayfield (8-7 overall, 6-5 WAC North), while Brandon Smith finished with seven points. Lucas VanNostrand finished with six points and 16 rebounds for the Panthers, and Jordan VanNostrand had six points and 10 rebounds.

Jim Grega and Tim Monette each scored seven points to lead Northville (6-9 overall, 3-8 WAC North).
