JOHNSTOWN - Sydney Coon scored a game-high 21 points to lead South Glens Falls to a 53-36 win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Friday.

South Glens Falls led 33-22 at the half on its way to the win.

Alexis Smith finished with 11 points for the Bulldogs (9-4 overall, 5-3 Foothills), while Kasey O'Brien added 10.

Emma Heroth scored 14 points to lead Johnstown (5-7 overall, 2-6 Foothills), while Courtney Cirillo added seven.

Haley Kilmartin finished with 15 points for the Lady Hilltoppers (13-1 overall, 10-0 WAC North), while Allehah VanLoan scored nine of her 11 points in the second half for Fort Plain.

Jenelle Dillenbeck scored nine points to lead Canajoharie (7-7 overall, 7-4 WAC North), while Alexis Kane added seven points.

ST. JOHNSVILLE - Friday's WAC North contest between St. Johnsville and Saratoga Catholic was postponed.

The game was rescheduled for Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

SCHENECTADY - Amsterdam was awarded forfeit win over Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons on Friday.
