FMCC men, women post wins over HVCC

JOHNSTOWN - Aaron Morton scored a game-high 23 points, leading the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men's basketball team to a 69-65 win over Hudson Valley Community College on Thursday.

The Raiders trialed 32-23 at halftime.

Jeremy Taylor scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Hudson Valley and Jose REyes added 15. Giacomo Giglio scored 12 points.

Kassandra Flowers scored a game-high 21 points and dished out 10 assists, leading the Lady Raiders over Hudson Valley.

Grace Rutagengway scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Veronica Chea added 13 points. Kendra Jordan scored 10 points.

Ashley Creighton led Hudson Valley with 18 points and Samantha Tomek scored 11.
