Timothy Edwin Morell, 65, of Leesburg, Fla., was welcomed by the Lord on January 21, 2013. He was born on August 20, 1947, in Rochester, N.Y.
Timothy is survived by his loving father and mother, Eugene and Angelina Morell of Wolcott, N.Y.; his loving wife of 43 years, Marguerite Morell; his adored children, Joseph E. Morell, and his wife, Marisa Morell of Gloversville, N.Y.; Sarah (Morell) Johnson, and her husband, Charlie Johnson of Rochester, N.Y. He was the adored grandfather of Christian Morell, Megan Morell and Kassidy Towne of Gloversville, N.Y. and Charli-Ella Johnson of Rochester, N.Y. He is also survived by and his caring sister, Patricia Mull of Bergen, N.Y.; and many other loving family members and friends.
Timothy earned a Master's Degree in education and a Certified Advanced Study Certificate. He served as Superintendent in five school districts throughout New York state and he retired in 2003. Timothy enjoyed spending time with family and friends; storytelling and music was a part of his everyday life.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, writing songs for others and making others laugh with his clever sense of humor. Sitting in a circle after a hearty meal, followed by a memorable walk to catch the sunset is the Morell way. Timothy had a heart of gold and his legacy will continue to touch the lives of those who know him.
