H.S. Girls Basketball Roundup: Lady Bills defeat Glens Falls, 48-44

JOHNSTOWN - Courtney Cirillo scored a game-high 19 points as the Johnstown Lady Bills edged Glens Falls, 48-44, in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Friday night.

The Lady Bills (5-6 overall, 2-5 Foothills Council) held a 30-26 lead at halftime.

Monica Harvey led Glens Falls (4-3 Foothills Council) with 16 points. Skyler Girard and Meresa Mason added 11 points each in the losing effort.

Kylie Gifford added 15 points, four steals and four assists for the Lady Patriots (7-4 overall, 2-4 Foothills Council). Katie Herba scored nine points, grabbed eight rebounds, five steals and dished out three asssists.

Ellie Gonyeau led Hudson Falls (3-4 Foothills Council) with 13 points.
