Karen Marshall rolled an 856 series during Hump Day Hellers League play at Arterial Lanes on Wednesday. Marshall rolled games of 288, 279 and 289 on her way to the 856 total, which included 31 strikes. Marshall’s previous career-high series was an 814. Marshall’s effort was the all-time high three-game series for area women, according to Fulton County United States Bowling Congress Bowling Association President Ed Bauman. Marshall’s total missed the all-time men’s mark of 859 by just three pins. (The Leader-Herald/Bill Trojan)
