H.S. Wrestling Roundup: FFCS defeats Voorheesville, 54-14

VOORHEESVILLE - Fonda-Fultonville won nine of the 12 contested weight classes on its way to a 54-14 win over Voorheesville in a Colonial Council wrestling match Thursday.

Kyle Gray (106 pounds), Jacob Boyer (132), Dom Mancini (145) and Ryan Park (152) all won by pinfall for Fonda-Fultonville (8-7 overall, 2-3 Colonial).

Thomas TenEyck (120), Caleb TenEyck (160), Richard Bagley (170), Robert Bagley (182) and Eric Moyer (285) all won by forfeit for the Braves.

Tristan Welton (113) and Ben Denn (126) won by major decision for Voorheesville (1-12 overall), while Nick Saccocio (138) won by injury default.

There were double forfeits at 99, 195 and 220 pounds.

Noah Handy (99), Daniel Fox (113) and Ben Nastovski (120) all won by decision for the Blue Devils, while Justus Richardson (106) and Jimmy Doolittle (170) won by forfeit.

Andrew Birch (126), Nolan Callaghan (132) and Sean Jackson (152) all won by pinfall for Ilion, while Laken Cook (138), Zach Fresco (220) and Brandon Yager claimed forfeit victories.
