Geraldine D. Nolte Rohner Master Sgt, retired, 77, of Reed Street, Northville, passed away at home on January 3, 2013, following a long illness. She was born in Middleburg, N.Y. on March 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Peter and Alice Nolte. She was a graduate of Middleburg Central School and enlisted in the United States Army, serving from 1955 to 1961. During her service she received her associate's degree in accounting. She was then employed by New York Telephone Company from 1963 to 1989. In 1980 she also re-enlisted in the Army National Guard serving until 1995 retiring as Master Sergeant.
She was a member and active in the American Legion. She also was a member of the Northville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Christine Nolte Bolton and her husband, James Joyce of Edinburg; one brother, Kenneth Nolte of Gilboa. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Friends may call on Friday, January 11, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Northville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Northville Presbyterian Church.
Burial with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
