Fort Plain finalizes schedule for Last Night celebration

FORT PLAIN - The Fort Plain Community Activities Council has released the schedule of events for the Tri-Village Last Night Celebration, which will take place starting at 4 p.m. on New Year's Eve in the village.

Headquarters for the evening will be 47 Main St., where the Friends of Fort Plain will have buttons, wristbands, maps and schedules. A shuttle bus will be available from 4 to 10 p.m.

A pulled-pork supper will be available at the Fort Plain Reformed Church, 165 Canal St., from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

From 6 to 11 p.m., the Ayres House, 111 Canal St., will offer chili, corn chowder and macaroni and cheese with ham.

The purchase of an adult button or child's wristband will allow admission to the following events:?

Buttons will cost $7. Wristbands for children 10 and younger will cost $1. Both are available for advance purchase at the Fort Plain NBT Bank branch, the Fort Plain News Room, Papa Joe's Pizza, the Fort Plain Library, the Medicine Shoppe and the Fort Plain village office.

They also can be purchased in St. Johnsville at the NBT Bank, the Reaney Memorial Library and the village office on Washington Street, and in Canajoharie at the Village Restaurant, Picture Perfect and the Canajoharie Library.
