Learners ages 18 to 20 will be admitted based on an interview with the teacher and as space and funding is available, a news release said.
Screening and orientation will be held at Centro Civico Annex Building, 133 E. Main St. The morning session will be from 9 a.m. to noon and the evening session is from 6 to 9. Students must arrive on time and be prepared to stay for the full three hours, the release said.
During orientation, students will learn about the program, register for class and participate in assessment. Students must bring a pen and pencil and a photocopy of a picture ID with birth date, the release said.
People interested in joining must call 736-4340 to reserve a seat. Voice mail is available. Callers should leave their name, phone number and specify their interest in morning or evening orientation.
