JOHNSTOWN - Jamal Vazquez scored a game-high 14 points, leading the Johnstown Sir Bills to a 51-39 Foothills Council win over the Hudson Falls Tigers on Friday.
Ricky Mitchell added 13 points for the Sir Bills (2-4 overall, 1-3 Foothills Council), who made six 3-point baskets in the game.
"I challenged a couple of guys before the game and they responded," Johnstown coach Scott Hale said. "I was happy with the effort."

In addition to his seven points, Jerry Groom grabbed 10 rebounds. Mike Everest made five steals and Ryan Auty dished out five assists to go with his two points.
"I thought defensively we did a nice job," Hale said. "We really moved the ball around and took some better shots tonight and I'm happy with all of their efforts."
Brandon Winchell scored 12 points for the Tigers (0-4 Foothills Council) and Matt Connolly scored 10.
