Lena Hewes died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Irving Hewes of Gloversville; one son, Melvin David (Terry) Palmer of Schenectady; and grandchildren, Lena Cryer, Megan Palmer, Aaron Palmer and Randy Palmer, all of Schenectady. There will be no viewing or funeral service. Arrangements are by the Gloversville Funeral Service.
