Girls Basketball Roundup: B-P edged by Scotia-Glenville

SCOTIA - Allison Casey scored with 1.2 seconds remaining to lift Scotia-Glenville to a 34-32 win over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council girls basketball game Tuesday.

Kaitlin Wood had tied the game for B-P with 5.8 seconds to play with a pair of free throws.

Katelyn Dwyer finished with 10 points to lead Scotia-Glenville (4-0 overall, 3-0 Foothills), while Allison Carey added seven points.

Wood finished with a game-high 15 points to lead Broadalbin-Perth (2-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills), while Katie Herba added 13 points.

Nera Brajac scored 15 points for the Lady Tigers (5-2 overall, 4-1 Colonial), while Isabella Vanelli finished with 13 points. Shadasia Alston added 10 points for Cohoes.

Monica Derby had a career-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Fonda-Fultonville (3-3 overall, 1-3 Colonial), while Emily Parslow added 17 points and seven rebounds.
