America now Sodom and Gomorrah

December 16, 2012
The Leader Herald

No one can measure up to God's standards of right and wrong. The rejection of God's laws led to a nation's downfall. The Jews were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. They rejected God's decrees and laws. The Jews were a stiff-necked people (Exodus 32:9, 33.3 and 33:5; and Deuteronomy 9:6).

Loving God and neighbor, which the law was reduced to (the Law of Ten Commandments), encompasses the old letter of the law. The law has not died. Believers died, not the law of Moses. Believers are controlled not by demands of the Ten Commandments, but by the holy spirit. We are no longer condemned by the law. Society should use it as standard of right and wrong since the law of Ten Commandments led us to Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:24 New International Version).

Since America is now a Sodom and Gomorrah, we citizens of the United States have rejected the Ten Commandments from schools and public places. We have become a stiff-necked people. We resist Jesus Christ. The United States has become a nation of lawlessness since we reject the Ten Commandments, our standard of right and wrong. Since we reject the Ten Commandments false ideologies as socialism, Marxism and Communism are going to infiltrate America. Just be aware of what we're teaching our kids in school the Ten Commandments are irrelevant. Instead, we falsely teach children are descended from an ape. When you teach man evolved with no soul or spirit and he is not accountable to God, is it any wonder we had a shooting at Columbine High School by teenagers? We believe in relative truth, that what is right for you is not right for me. We do not believe in the absolute truth found in Bible. In summation, our inadequacy to live by God's standards makes us realize our utter sinfulness and our inability to help ourselves and our needs for a savior.
