Police investigating counterfeit cash

JOHNSTOWN- City police said a woman was arrested after passing $140 in counterfeit cash to an individual.

Jerry Ann Mandl, 48, of 127 County Highway 131A, was charged Friday with first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police Lt. David Gilbo said the case is still under investigation. The Secret Service has been brought in on the investigation, he said.

Mandl was arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Correctional Facility on a $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
