Boys Basketball Roundup: Scotia-Glenville rolls past Johnstown

SCOTIA - Joe Cremo finished with 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead Scotia-Glenville to a 75-40 win over Johnstown in a Foothills Council boys basketball game Tuesday.

Andrew Tabbert recorded 17 points and seven assists for the Tartans (3-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills), while Alex Sausville added 15 points.

Ricky Mitchell finished with 14 points to lead Johnstown (1-2 overall, 0-1 Foothills), while Jerry Groom added 13 points.

NORTHVILLE - Kalob Russell scored all 17 of his points in the second half to lead Northville to a WAC North Division win over St. Johnsville.

The Falcons trailed 29-22 at the half before outscoring the Saints 41-22 after the break to earn the win.

Jim Grega finished with 15 points for Northville (2-2 overall, 1-1 WAC North), while Barcley Hayward added 10 points. Tim Monette registered nine points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Falcons.

Dylan Klock scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead St. Johnsville (0-3 overall, 0-2 WAC North), while Brandon Campione added 14 points.

Hensel hit five 3-pointers in the second quarter as the Blackbirds rallied from a 15-7 first-quarter deficit to take a 28-23 lead into the half.

Noah Crawford finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists for Voorheesville (1-1 overall, 1-1 Colonial).

Will Turner finished with a game-high and career-high 37 points for Fonda-Fultonville (2-2 overall, 0-2 Colonial). Turner hit six 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds for the Braves.

Ryan Derby added eight points for the Braves.
