JOHNSTOWN - City police said a resident was charged Thursday for violation of the city's Social Host Law for hosting an underage drinking party last month in which a 15-year-old fell out a window and suffered serious injuries.
Police said Darby B. McCullers, 24, of 5 Hall Ave., was charged with violation of the Social Host Law and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said officers investigated an incident at the suspect's home at 11 p.m. Nov. 2. The investigation revealed the suspect hosted a party with numerous underage people, allowing them to drink alcohol. Police said a 15-year-old fell out of a second-floor window and suffered serious injuries.
Chief Mark Gifford said Monday night the victim was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with a brain injury.
McCullers will appear later in City Court.
